ATTRACTION

The Moorings Beach Park is the perfect place to relax and enjoy Florida’s weather with its large parking lot, Chickee Hut, picnic tables, children’s play area, and direct beach access. The Naples Zoo, located just 2 miles east of the Moorings, offers a wonderful experience for children of all ages. In a beautiful tropical setting, you can see all your favorite animals like lions, giraffes, monkeys, pythons, and bears. Also you can discover feature exhibits and rarely seen creatures like the fosa of Madagascar and a giant anteater. Lowdermilk Beach Park is less than a mile from Moorings neighborhood and offers white sandy beach access with picnic areas, pavilions, casual dining, restrooms, volleyball courts and children’s playground. The Naples Pier is located in Old Naples and extends in the Gulf of Mexico to allow sightseeing and fishing. The Pier features restrooms, showers, a concession stand with covered eating area, and beach supplies. The Palm Cottage, located near the Pier, was built in 1895 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Cambier Park is a community park in the center of Old Naples where free outdoor movies are shown during the year.  The park also has playgrounds, a community building, and a theater auditorium. Cambier Park hosts many art shows and charity events throughout the season. Within a short drive, residents of Moorings can enjoy the famous Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South for a mix of glamour and laid-back shops and restaurants.

The Village Shops on Venetian Bay, located in Park Shore, offers waterfront dining experience and includes Bayside Seafood Grill and Bar, Fish, M Waterfront Grill, Miromare Ristorante, T-Michaels, The Village Pub. The Charleston Square is located in front of the famous Lowdermilk beach park and hosts the popular First Watch restaurant opens for breakfast and lunch. The Naples Beach Hotel is home of HB’s on the Gulf, a beachfront experience with fresh regional seafood. The Sunset Beach Bar and Grill, also located in the Naples Beach Hotel, offers cool beverages and delicious sandwiches with beachfront seating. Third Street South in Old Naples offers delicious menu, wonderful wine lists and beverages for every mood and taste. Great restaurants such as Tommy Bahamas, Campiello, Sea Salt, Jane’s Cafe on Third Street, and Barbatella are located on Third Street South. Fifth Avenue South, in the heart of Old Naples, also proposes casual dining and upscale menus that will please your palate.

GOLF

The Mooring Golf and Country Club features a challenging 18-hole golf course boasting 9 Par 4s and 9 Par 3s. With a Par of 64, this golf course provides a great option for quicker rounds whether you are riding a cart or walking.  A putting green, a chipping practice area and hitting nets are available as well as a number of weekly golf events.
